MEET JENNIFER...

Hi, thank you for visiting my site; I hope you like what you see! I moved from Seattle to Yakima In 2019... to follow my heart. What started as a long-distance relationship is now my amazing little family; my husband Jarod, and our 3 year old son Archer! Not only have I gotten to start my family in Yakima, but I have been able to build a successful business doing what I love! I graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from CWU "Go Wildcats!" and have over 25 years experience in graphic design, both professionally and personally. I have worked with a variety of clients, not only in the Yakima Valley, but across Washington State and beyond. I love all the amazing connections that I have made along the way, and I can't wait to connect with you!

WHY TWINE + VINE?

When I first started my business, I wanted to come up with a catchy name, but was in a hurry to get everything up and running; therefore, in a pinch, I became "Jennifer Buckalew Graphic Design." I was never 100% settled on it, so I continued to brainstorm... When I think Yakima, beer and wine quickly come to mind – both things that I definitely enjoy! Before moving to Yakima, I had never seen a hop field, and now I live in the "Hop Capital of the World" and am surrounded by them. I also started working at VanArnam Vineyards and began to learn more about and really appreciate wine! With such a prominence in the area, and in the work that I do, I wanted to incorporate both beer and wine into my business name. I got to thinking "hops grow on twine and grapes grow on vines", and I loved the playful rhyming of the two... and so Twine + Vine was born!
